Elder Daron D. Epps
Assistant Pastor
An anointed and dynamic Preacher and Teacher, Minister Epps is the youngest son of eight, 3 which are ordained Ministers, parented by the late Dan Franklin Jr. and Clementine Epps. He is employed at Neighbors Federal Credit Union where he is aspiring to one day serve on the Board of Directors or become a REO Agent for the Bank owned properties. He is a graduate of Pointe Coupee Central High School and received his Associates of Science in Business from Remington College in 2006. He also received his accreditation certificate from Burk Baker School of Real Estate in 2007. 

Before accepting his calling into Ministry he sang in the Choir beginning at age 9 and  taught Sunday school at the tender age of 13 for several years, leading him into becoming a deacon at the age of 19. Elder Epps accepted his calling to preach on November 11, 2009 and ministered his first sermon on April 11, 2010. He was ordained on January 15, 2011 by Pastor Reece Turner of the Mt. Mariah Baptist Church accompanied by Associate Pastors of Pointe Coupee Parish. 

He serves in ministry very closely with his sister Pastor Hawkins as the Assistant Pastor of House of Restoration Outreach Ministries (HOROM) and as her Armor Bearer, as well as Men Department Overseer. 

Elder Epps is also the Vice President of Tracey Hawkins Ministries (THM), Instructor/ Teacher of Faith in Motion Bible Class which is a weekly community bible study under the leadership of Pastor and Evang Reece Turner. He stands firmly on Romans 8:17 which states, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the Glory that shall be revealed within us. He believes in not negotiating the uncompromising Word of God. He is a man of God, a devoted husband, a great father, a superb son,  a consoling friend, and most important a Servant.

Elder LaWanda M. Rixter
Associate Pastor
Elder LaWanda M. Rixter is a licensed and ordained minister, anointed and chosen by God to minister the unadulterated truths of the Gospel. She has traveled across many parts of Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi ministering the Word of God through the preached word and through song. Her ministry is best known for the anointing and passion she has to deal with women, both single and married, understanding the many issues and challenges we face. She is proud mother of one beautiful daughter, Mattielyn Rose-Lois.

She has been one chosen by God to deliver a life changing message that will affect and influence the lives of everyone she comes in contact with. She serves as Associate Pastor at House of Restoration Outreach Ministries (HOROM) under the leadership of Overseer Tracey Epps-Hawkins.

In addition to her call as Associate Pastor, she also serves as Overseer of the Woman’s Ministry, Pulpit Facilitator, Armor Bearer, Secretary and Legal Advisor. Elder Rixter is the founder of Helping Hands, Inc., a non-profit, multi-faceted outreach organization designed to assist with an influx of both business and spiritual needs; reaching out to men, women and young adults alike.   Its greatest mission is to provide a network and collaboration for individuals to share their like interests, experiences, struggles and victories with others. She is the owner of Capital City Notary, Inc., a local notary establishment serving East & West Baton Rouge, East & West Feliciana, Livingston, Ascension and Pointe Coupee parishes as well as CreateMe Custom Designs.

Her desire is to see the people of God ushered into the greatest dimension that God has ordained for their lives; teaching, the value and importance of a dedicated, set apart and completely whole life in Christ.
